Essay Questions - You will only need to answer one on the final
1. The transition to "Web 2.0" fundamentally changed the World Wide Web. Analyze this transition, its impacts on how we use the web, and its impacts on teaching and learning.
2. When visiting your first classroom, you are stunned to discover that there is no integrated technology. You were really looking forward to using a Smartboard, and the lack of this technology is very disappointing. When you ask the principal about getting a Smartboard installed, she informs you that there is money available, but they need to insure that it would be used. She asks that you prepare a written justification for installing a Smartboard. Provide this justification below.
3. Choose any piece of technology (hardware or software) and argue for its use based on the 5 reasons for using technology. You may not use all five reasons, but you must provide justification for each step. Don't say, "Using [X] would increase student motivation." Explain why it would increase student motivation. Make sure to use specific examples where appropriate.
